Hello I am Evlyn, Chris suggested me to join, I am doing it mainly to keep contact with some of my friends but don't worry I also love to read. I work in a library in Montreal and I do illustrations work on my own. Back on G+ I was crafting RPGs zines. I still do a bit but I am mainly trying to draw comic books and working on illustrations. I don't game anymore except for some computer games (but I miss RPGs). My main RPG related activity now are listening to the podcasts The Good Friends of Jackson Elias and Plundergrounds (beware of the rust monster!).
Hello and welcome @Evlyn ! Feel free to jump in on the current book o' the month discussion or get ready for next month. I don't game as much as I'd like to, either!
NB: Eventually the G+ content will move to this forum.
EVLYN! Hugs for my friend and favorite artist! I am so glad you have joined! I have missed you! How are you doing? Is dropping RPGs working for you? How is your comic art going? Your artwork was a sore loss for me since you left the remains of G+! I am full of joy now!
@Evlyn - wild. I JUST mentioned you on my podcast (talking about the Atlantis art you did for me that I have in my hip pocket for a future zine). Good to see you here and I hope things are going well for you in the frozen north.
Hi gang. Matt here.
You may know me from places such as G+, tweeter, and facebags.
I mostly chat and comment on existing posts.
I have a bookcase of RPGs I want to play and another one with books I want to read.
Hello everyone. I'm a GM of nearly 30 years now (on and off) and in recent years have found it difficult to motivate myself to read longer works. I do read a lot of shorter blogs and articles (every day) but I'd really like to get back into reading novels. I'm hoping a slow reading habit that I can do with others might help to re-train me into being able to finish longer books.
We do a monthly book most months, though we don't currently have one lined up for May. And we're currently also doing a slow read of Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun which will last until Christmas, reading about 20 pages a week. So you've got two speeds to choose from around here.
Hi everyone. I met a few folks down the Mitchester. I play RPGs and read books, and I blog about one-shot RPGs at Burn After Running. Looking forward to some forthright literature debate.
Welcome @BurnAfterRunning! We’re just about to discuss Ursula Le Guin’s Tehanu. And our next book is Space Opera, a pick by @NeilNjae (for which we need an intro post to pin up, btw, Neil) to be discussed at the end of September.
Hey folks, I'm Jesse A. I was talking up Piranesi in an RPG related Slack I hang out in, and somebody suggested I come by here and join the discussion. Excited to talk about the phenomenal book.

Belatedly, hi Loz, Feral_Ink, and Evlyn. What a pleasant surprise!
I have to get used back to reading and posting on forums.
Damn right you do, Evlyn!
Some of you may know me as Mamading Ceesay from G+. In many other places including Twitter, I'm @evangineer.
My tastes tend to run more towards sci-fi and supers, but I read a decent amount of fantasy too.
Greetings Evangineer!
Nice to see you, @evangineer
