Mortal Engines
All, I just finished Mortal Engines by Philip Reeves- it's YA so leans a bit too heavily on coincidental meetings for my taste, and naturally the character development and interactions are at YA level. But the imagination in the world building is IMHO excellent, and I can easily see some enterprising person making a game of it.

I actually read it after seeing the trailer, I enjoyed it on a YA level. The worldbuilding was fantastic!
