Does this book have much in it to offer a game system, world, or creator? Does it provide any ideas that one might be able to integrate into a gaming session/world?

Keen to hear what others say about this
Setting-wise it does provide a ready-made village setting one could just lift and plop into an appropriate campaign, complete with village map, factions, and personalities, of one wanted to.
From a theme perspective, I could see myself (or to be honest, a younger, more energetic, and less forgetful version of myself) being interested in running a one-shot or short campaign that centred on responding to technological change. But I have really no idea at the moment how I might translate that to the table.
