Signal Lost = 1. Overall Thoughts

This is obviously a SF romance, we are all male, and most men don't read romances. Did this book work for you overall? Did reading it feel awkward? Did it seem forced? Was it boring?

It was interesting reading this only shortly after How to Find a Nameless Fae as although set in entirely different worlds they covered somewhat similar territory! I have to confess that personally speaking I liked Signal Lost better, mainly because the world-building seemed to me more original, whereas Fae relied heavily on familiarity with a particular set of shared conventions. The romance was, shall we say, somewhat juvenile in its preoccupation, but everyone starts out juvenile. I enjoyed the book and the hints as to the larger system of Tau Ceti and its history. I'd happily read another book set in that universe.
