Anyone here read this? It's an older book, from the nineties, but I just read it for the first time. Very interesting!

It's anthropological SF, with nothing clear and definitive, but asking lots of questions. Very slow paced. I really liked it!
@Apocryphal - It's about 550 pages, so not so short!
